"Fallow Me" 24ct Gold Original Painting 80 x 100 cm
“Fallow Me” is the second of four large original paintings to be created for my new 2024 spring collection “Through The Forest”
“Through The Forest” is heavily inspired by the great British wildlife that I am personally surrounded by on a daily basis, and what better time to celebrate it through art than in the upcoming spring season.
Expect to see a delicate male fallow deer treading through the forest, accompanied by some friends dancing on the tree branches, and balancing on his antlers and another little family peacefully plodding through the freshly bloomed daffodils. Alongside the rich forest background, you’ll find paint splats, abstract metallic paint swipes and the classic gold boarder framing the perimeter of the piece but for the first time ever in 24 carat Genuine Gold Leaf.
This acrylic painting will be finished in a high gloss professional varnish to help protect the painting and keep the gold leaf shining! Finished off with a wooden frame hand crafted by myself, stained with a medium oak colour wood dye and protected with a strong satin stain. Arrives ready to hang!
