ORIGINAL "METALLIC FLOW" Framed Painting 81 x 55cm
An original painting full of glamour and texture, “Metallic Flow” was named after the intertwining elements of the mixed metal tones, which in my eyes has an almost galactic feel to it. This painting like most of my other abstracts, has added textural paste giving it a three-dimensional aspect to make the artwork pop! Personally, I cannot get enough of this painting - it has to be one of my favourites so far in my collection. Due to the neutral yet eye catching colour palette from this artwork, I envision it to be hung above a sideboard in a hallway, centrally above a dining table, above a bed with brass lamps… the possibilities are endless with this versatile piece.
I handcrafted the frame to custom fit the 3.6cm box canvas, used a router on the inner edge and sunk the canvas down to create a shadowing edge - complete with hand painting it charcoal grey and finishing with a hard-wearing satin varnish
With all my paintings they are finished with a professional strong hold permanent varnish to seal and protect the piece from dirt, dust and UV damage. Despite this, it is still recommended to resist handling the piece and to avoid hanging in direct sunlight.
